MiLB Intelligence
READINESS
Rookie-Level Assignment
The official assignment is Rookie. IQDugout displays the assignment as development context, not as an MLB-readiness grade.
CALL-UP OUTLOOK
Not Determined
Level alone cannot support an individual call-up judgment. Performance, health, roster status, role fit, and organization need would also have to be evaluated.
PROJECTION
Second Baseman
This is the player's currently listed role or position context, not a prediction of a future MLB role.
DEVELOPMENT RISK
Not Graded
Development risk is not graded from league level or draft year alone.
Ceiling is withheld until supported player-specific scouting or performance evidence is available.

Organization rank: Unavailable from current official MLB data
No exact or broad ETA is shown without supported individual performance, development, health, and roster evidence.
DEVELOPMENT TREND
Early Pro Development
The current official assignment is Rookie. Assignment level is factual context and is not treated as proof of promotion readiness.
IMPROVEMENT AREAS
- Evaluate sustained performance with level and age context
- Review role fit, health, roster status, and organization need
SCOUT REPORT
Prosek isn't as tooled up as fellow Mississippi prep prospect Eric Booth Jr., but he could join him in the first round because he's one of the most advanced bats in the entire high school class. Part of a Magnolia Heights (Senatobia, Miss.) program that has won eight consecutive Midsouth Association of Independent Schools 5-A championships, he homered twice in the 2025 title game and went deep and earned a complete-game victory in the 2026 finale. He also played well on the showcase circuit, winning MVP honors at the Perfect Game All-American Classic in July, and Gatorade named him Mississippi's 2026 high school player of the year. The nephew of Brewers third-base coach Matt Erickson, Prosek has a quick, compact left-handed swing that always seems to be on time. He can chase pitches and get pull-happy on occasion, but his good feel for the barrel allows him to make quality contact. He has the hitting ability, bat speed and strength for at least average power, and some evaluators believe he can become a plus hitter with solid pop. He ranked second nationally with 18 homers in 41 games this spring. Because he's a below-average runner and lacks lateral quickness, Prosek fits better at third base than in the middle infield. He has seen some action at catcher this spring, playing well enough that scouts believe it's a path that may be worth exploring in pro ball -- though it would add to his development time and take a toll on his offensive production. He has solid arm strength and has pushed his fastball to 93 mph on the mound. He'll be 19 on Draft day and eligible again as a sophomore in 2028 if he attends Mississippi.
