MiLB Intelligence
READINESS
High-A Assignment
The official assignment is High-A. IQDugout displays the assignment as development context, not as an MLB-readiness grade.
CALL-UP OUTLOOK
Not Determined
Level alone cannot support an individual call-up judgment. Performance, health, roster status, role fit, and organization need would also have to be evaluated.
PROJECTION
Outfielder
This is the player's currently listed role or position context, not a prediction of a future MLB role.
DEVELOPMENT RISK
Not Graded
Development risk is not graded from league level or draft year alone.

Organization rank: Unavailable from current official MLB data
No exact or broad ETA is shown without supported individual performance, development, health, and roster evidence.
DEVELOPMENT TREND
Full-Season Development
The current official assignment is High-A. Assignment level is factual context and is not treated as proof of promotion readiness.
IMPROVEMENT AREAS

- Review role fit, health, roster status, and organization need
SCOUT REPORT
One of the best all-around athletes in the 2024 high school class, Strosnider starred in basketball and the high jump as well as baseball. After swing-and-miss concerns and a strong commitment to Texas Christian left him undrafted, he starred as a freshman and became just the sixth NCAA Division I player in the past 25 seasons to reach double figures in homers, triples, doubles and steals. Despite a late-season slump as a sophomore, he could surpass Braden Taylor (No. 19 overall in 2023) as the highest-drafted hitter in Horned Frogs history. Strosnider's batting practice display at the 2023 Area Code Games is still legendary -- he shattered a dorm window beyond the right-field fence -- and he continues to impress with his huge raw power as a sophomore-eligible. He has a gorgeous left-handed swing and makes consistent in-zone contact, but questions still persist about his bat because he chases all types of pitches out of the zone, resulting in too many grounders. While he does much more damage against right-handers, he is showing more pop and drawing more walks against southpaws this spring. A quick-twitch athlete, Strosnider is a 6-foot-2, 200-pounder with plus speed once underway. Many evaluators believe he can play center field as a pro, though he mostly mans right field for the Horned Frogs alongside Chase Brunson, who projects to go in the top two rounds in July. Strosnider had a low-90s fastball as a prep pitcher and displayed plus arm strength last spring before having surgery to clean up his throwing shoulder during the summer.
